Low income communities of color are deprived of resources, making them especially vulnerable during natural disasters. The Community Party will share #HurricaneHarvey disaster relief information on grassroots organizations that focus on Black and Latinx neighborhoods, along with other marginalized populations.
We will also talk about environmental racism and climate change, issues that have been mostly ignored during corporate media coverage of Hurricane Harvey
