Too often we hear patients, on their initial visit, want to explain their situation as primarily a function of their age. True, as we grow older we do decrease in lean muscle mass and the ability to quickly respond in terms of recovery. However, that is the "low hanging fruit"; the easy excuse that allows people to continue on the path of status quo.
The truth of the matter is that we see 60 year-old's who are younger than 30 somethings.
