This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.Can I lose weight quickly without exercise?
Yes, yes you can.
You can lose weight quickly without exercising, but it's probably not the type of weight that you want to lose.
For example, I cannot drink water for three days and I will lose weight and since my body fat is lower, I will actually look better but I won’t be able to perform to my best ability because I will be dehydrated.
So, it really depends on why you want to lose the weight and I do not recommend any quick scheme to lose weight.
You could not eat and drink and for three days and you will lose weight but you're not going to be able to sustain that for very long and once you start drinking water and eating again, you will gain all that weight right back.
So really if your idea or goal is to lose weight, I would rather have you look up your RMR online.
Just type in your information and this can give you a number of how many calories your body burns on throughout the day.
Now this is just an estimation but if it shows you are burning 2000 calories a day and you are writing down all the food you been eating for the past seven days you may have noticed you consumed 3000 calories every day, which if you continue that over time you are going to gain weight and that is not what you want to be doing.
So ultimately, you have to cut your calories back and eat healthier foods.
