This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.What is the first step to losing weight?
If your goal is weight loss I personally recommend that you find your RMR
which stands for resting metabolic rate once you find your RMR can give
you an estimation of how many calories your body is burning throughout
the day.
So to keep it simple were
getting use 2000 calories, if you are burning essentially 2000 calories a
day and you started your food journal which is my second recommendation
and you notice on average that you are consuming 4000 calories a day,
you can see that there is a 2000 calorie difference and over time was
can happen is you can start to gain weight and generally that will be in
the form of fat.
So my first step
is to find you’re RMR, my second step is to start a food journal and my
third step is to start an exercise program based on something that will
help you get through your day a little bit easier.
Or
if you wanted to take that to another step on create a goal and try to
create a program or get a program created for you that will help you
achieve your goal that you have so without going into a lot more detail
just remember those first couple steps that I gave you if you start to
follow those you will notice a change immediately.
