Following our historical making game in China, I am joined by my rival from the field on that day Jackson Trengrove for this weeks episode of the Out of Bounds podcast. It’s great to speak to Jackson and get his perspective of the whole experience we both shared playing the first game for international points.
It’s Jackson’s honest nature that makes for such a great chat as we go through the build up, game itself , the after mass following the match and what is a must do for all the fans thinking of heading over for the fixture next year.
Jackson also explains during the chat how he made the most of the bye over in China and that leads in to us chatting about his significant mentoring role with Jarred Impey. The mentoring doesn’t stop there though as he now has a baby girl as part of the family so it’s great to get his perspective on what it’s like trying to balance football and family life, a common struggle amongst majority of the AFL players.
Amongst all this we still manage to find time to talk about Jackson’s beginnings at Port Adelaide club and his interactions since with some of the legends of the club, up until the resurgence of the club in recent years. I hope you enjoy all this and the game of “Three Players” we play on this weeks episode of the Out of Bounds Podcast.
