1st Segment:
The celebrity persona that surrounds Donald Trump has ushered in a new era of news that many are beginning to capitalize off of in order to push their own agendas. This has become the era of fake news and it is now starting to plague our electorate as they are conforming to its effects.
3rd Segment:
On Sept 23, 1932, Franklin D Roosevelt gave a speech at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco right at the height of the Great Depression. The Speech pointed out the many causes of the Great Depression, mainly the corporate takeover of government institutions and the greed that enables it.
The purpose of this speech was to highlight how this idea of wealth in the hands of the few is unsustainable and how this has been the tug in The American electorate for years.
Why is that people having more faith in corporations than in government?
What will be the end result if we allow corporations and big profit interest take over our Government institutions and why are so many Americans okay with this??
