One of the most well respected men’s basketball strength coaches in the country, David Deets has been a featured speaker at national conferences and was one of seven individuals in Nike Basketball’s SPARQ program. The Nike SPARQ program developed new testing measures for several sports with Coach Deets contributing to the basketball standards. Prior to joining Anderson and his staff at Arkansas, David Deets spent five years at Missouri. He was instrumental in the renovations of Sally O. Nichols weight room and mentored four National Strength and Conditioning All-Americans. Coach Deets off-season etiquette with the Tigers was instrumental in Missouri’s three NCAA tournament runs and Big 12 Tournament Championship in 2009.
