David Wright and Mark Radulich present their Aggretsuko Netflix Season 5 Review! Aggretsuko, also known by its original Japanese title Aggressive Retsuko, is a Japanese animated comedy streaming television series based on the eponymous character created by "Yeti" for the mascot company Sanrio. The character first appeared in a series of animated shorts by Fanworks which aired on TBS Television between April 2016 and March 2018.
A fifth and final season debuted in February 2023.
As part of its reveal, a synopsis was released by Netflix Japan highlighting Retsuko will be running for office in Japan's parliament whilst Haida is evicted from his apartment - which is owned by his parents - and is living in an Internet café where he meets Shikabane; a multi-talented artist gaining attention.
