Influential Oregon author Tom Spanbauer died last week after a long illness with Parkinson’s disease. He was the author of five novels, including "The Man Who Fell In Love With The Moon" and "I Loved You More." Spanbauer shaped a generation of Pacific Northwest authors through his ‘Dangerous Writing’ workshops, with authors like Chuck Palahniuk, Lidia Yuknavitch, Chelsea Cain and Cheryl Strayed, all citing his influence.
