About 15 years ago, scuba divers began encountering one of the world’s largest predatory sharks -- the sixgill --- lurking in the waters around Seattle.
For a time, Puget Sound was a mecca for the sharks -- until they suddenly disappeared. What happened to the sixgills became one of Seattle’s great marine mysteries.
Now some wonder if the sharks might be back.
