Aisling Walsh -the director of the wonderful movie “Maudie”, opening next Friday, which I predict will win an Oscar nomination for Sally Hawkins. Co-starring Ethan Hawke, this beautiful film (both story & landscape) is the story of folk artist Maude Lewis, who became a well-known artist despite a crippling disability. This is also a very unlikely love story and a lesson in what really makes us happy in life. Hint: it ain’t $$$ or facebooking!!!!
