Are you in need of a new roof? Are you struggling to make the cost of a new roof fit into your budget? Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity (MVHFH) is seeking applicants for its Roof Replacement Initiative. As part of the Initiative, MVHFH partners with low to moderate income homeowners who need a new roof, and make the replacement affordable by charging only a portion of the overall cost of the roof based on the homeowner’s income. The payments are then broken down over a period of one to two years with 0% interest.
The Roof Replacement Initiative is part of Maumee Valley Habitat’s Home Repair Program which provides health and safety related repairs to Lucas County homeowners.
“When folks are on a limited budget or fixed income and they need a roof replacement, the cost is often out of reach. When homeowners partner with Habitat, they preserve their home and raise their quality of life,” said Michael McIntyre, Executive Director, Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity.
Lucas County homeowners are encouraged to apply by calling Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity at 419-382-1964.
