They do a lot of great events to help folks reconnect with nature. The program is called Adventure Awaits and features, kayaking paddles, swamp tromps,. weeding and trash cleanup for the birds, an evening unders the stars astronomy, Sunset meditation under the Oaks, wandering flower crews, holiday sunset hikes, nature scavenger hunts, 2-4k trail runs, etc. Listeners can sign up via Event Brite. PBC ERM is hosting their annual PBC Natural Areas Festival on Saturday Feb 15th at Winding Waters Nature Area. 6161 Haverhill Rd WPB from 2p-7p. They have a wide variety of programs that day: trail run (Must pre-register), free kayaking, burn demo, exhibitors, kid zone, wildlife presentation, wildflower panting, and what did you catch in the trap, plus more.
