Human Trafficking is a form of modern day slavery that occurs in every state of the union, including Alabama. An organization called “The Well-House” creates a safe place for women and girls who are a victim of Human trafficking and prostitution. They strive to help break the cycle of harm and introduce these victims to a new life. Slade Smith is the President of the Junior Board of the Well House and he joins us on Viewpoint to talk about what they are doing for these women and girls in the state of Alabama, as well as what our listeners can do to help them rase awareness and funds.
