In Christ Jesus brings us directly into that time when Gentiles were without Christ, in fact Paul says in Ephesians chapter two verse twelve "That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world." As we look at the world, Christian faith and those who have embraced and followed our Lord Jesus Christ stands as a lighthouse to the world. Yet we realize the world and all that is therein are directly opposed to the #LordourGod and our #Savior Jesus, #Yeshua the #Christ. Although, in the beginning there was no hope for those without God; the sacrifice of the #LambofGod and His #resurrection from the dead has #certified the #truth and the #sealing of #Godselect found securely in #JesusChrist. Paul follows up the thirteenth verse of Ephesians chapter two by saying directly to those reading His #Apostolicdirectives "But now #inChristJesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the #bloodofChrist." This is a very good message for today's world, and an encouragement to all #Christians who are having a tough time of it in today's world. Especially in the arena of battleground where we find the #persecutedchurch. In addition, the words also point to the Church itself to keep the #firesoffaith burning deeply within heart and soul. The reason is our #Lord comes and #blessed is that servant whose Lord finds him watching and waiting. Be sure you are "In Christ Jesus"! #InChristJesus.
