The Bottom Line:

The Full Story:Earlier this week, firefighters from Lacey Fire District 3 in Washington State found an unresponsive puppy inside a vehicle where fentanyl was present. Despite the unusual nature of the situation, the firefighters’ training enabled them to respond effectively and save the puppy. The Lacey Fire District 3 shared photos of the puppy wrapped in a blanket and receiving care, writing that while using Narcan on a dog is rare, their teams are prepared for all emergencies.
