Red Flags You Are Getting Scammed
Between AI, texts, DM's...scams are around every corner.

  1. Emergency Overload: Scammers love to trigger your panic response with emergencies like“Your grandson’s in jail!” or “You owe the IRS!” and that’s because freaked-out people don’t ask questions.
  2. Too Fast, Too Furious: That “limited-time offer” or urgent request? It's likely a scam in disguise. Whether it’s fake tech support asking for authorization or a “can’t-miss” investment, scammers know pressure equals poor decisions.
  3. New Number Who This?: Just met someone who suddenly needs cash? Yikes.
  4. Badge of Deception: If an “officer,” “lawyer,” or “FBI agent” you’ve never met is suddenly in your business, it’s probably a con.
  5. They Ask You To Pay? You Say “No Way!”: If someone’s asking you to pay with a gift card, crypto, or Venmo for tech support or bail money, run.
