Fear is One of the enemy’s most favorite weapons that he uses against you. the Fiery Darts of Worry, anxiety, fear…attempt to distract and overwhelm you to keep you from seeking God’s Wisdom and Presence.
Fundamentally, "Fear" means to withdraw. separate yourself from, and thus causing you to flee (remove yourself) and hence to avoid situations and circumstances and people and things because of dread or fright.
The objective of the enemy to send a Fiery Dart of Fear is to cause you to withdraw, fleeing because feeling inadequate without with sufficient resources.
Fear is commonly used in Scripture – sometimes positively in relation to God, but more often negatively of withdrawing from the Lord and His will.
Fear is the Persuasion of the devil to get you to Believe the Worst. Faith is God’s Divine Persuasion Certifying He Brings His Word to Pass.
God says: He has not given you spirit of fear, but His Spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2Timothy 1:7)
Jesus Christ Himself is your Peace. (Ephesians 2:14) He has left you with His Peace saying:
My Own Peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled. (John 14:27)
You as a Child of God born of the Spirit of God are are led by the Spirit of God. The Spirit which you have now received is not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption the Spirit producing sonship in which we cry, Abba Father! The Spirit Himself thus testifies together with our own spirit, assuring you that we are children of God. (Romans 8:14-16)
God Comfirms that you abide in Him, and He in you, because He has given, imparted in you His Spirit. (1 John 4:13) For who is in Christ, after you heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and having believed in and relied on Him, you were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:13)
There is no fear in love-dread does not exist, but full-grown, complete, perfect love casts out fear and expels every trace of terror! (1 John 4:18)
You were bought with a price-purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made God’s Own. Yes, you are bought with a price - Though you were a slave to the world, yet Now you have been purchased for God by the blood of His Son; (1 Corinthians 6:20) You are, therefore, in God’s sight of inestimable worth, due the to Great Price of His Son Who died for you.
When I am Afraid, I Put my Trust in God. I Praise God for What He has Promised. I Trust in God, so Why should I be Afraid?-Psalms 56:3
What can mere mortals do to me? They are always twisting what I say; they spend their days plotting to harm me. (Psalms 56:3-5)
DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever– The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you constantly and will be in you. (John 14:16-17)
THE Lord is my Light and my Salvation–whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life–of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1-4)
Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)
