of Blackness takes a look into Verda's story while examining the effects race played within the
adoption industry.

In this episode Mrs. Byrd and I speak on her background, her story of love in regards to uncovering her rich history, and the impact of both her book and the upcoming documentary "Seventy Years of Blackness - The Untangling of Race & Adoption" by filmmaker Christopher Windfield.
