The Oregon Senate gave final legislative approval to a gross receipts tax on businesses with over a million dollars in annual revenue to provide a major boost for K-12 education. It's titled the Student Success Act, and we air floor speeches pro and con by senators from both parties, including Lew Frederick, Cliff Bentz, Betsy Johnson, Fred Girod, and Mark Hass.
