This morning Brig & Lehmo leant a helping hand to Connor's family, who really needed an air conditioning unit fitted into their house to help their little boy. Connor was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 3, and he is also autistic. His bedroom is his safe place, and unfortunately is the hottest room in the house.
Connor's mum Astrid gave up her job to care for Connor and younger sister Thalia, and affording the air con was just not an option.
We were lucky to have Steve from Dale Air call into the studio this morning and kindly provide a split system air conditioner to the family, free of charge. GOLD104.3 also gave $1000 to the family just to make things a little bit easier.
