“Perfectly’ Broken”
The true meaning of perfect in Scripture…
Matthew 5:48 (ESV) 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matt. 5:48).
Have you ever felt you simply cannot compete with the idea of being ‘perfect?’
Did some preacher some time deliver a sermon you heard where he/she quoted this passage or another with the word ‘perfect’ in it and you thought you are failing in your ‘walk’ because with your hurts, habits and hang-ups, you could never BE perfect? You could never hit the mark?
That is super frustrating I know… and frustration is without cause. I will tell you why in this message… You will be glad you listened, IF you listen!
