Its films date from the dawn of cinema to the early ‘80s.
Under Phil’s direction, the library, which contains many rare films—all being meticulously restored one by one with 4K transfers from original assets—is behind the October 2021 relaunch of Fandor, the leading independent streaming company super-serving enthusiast fan bases. Additionally, each month Fandor’s sister company, The Film Detective (TFD), releases a special-edition Blu-ray/DVD of a restored film/series.
