This week, I’m very pround to be able to continue the discussion on young entrepreneurs who have started Cut To The Case, which implements innovative technologies to increase transparency, accountability, and reporting among sexual assaults.
PremikaPandia is a senior studying Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Kendall Furbee is a junior at the University of Illinois studying materials science and engineering.
With Cut to the Case, they are currently working on implementing a rape kit tracking system to assist all of the necessary stakeholders (DNA labs, law enforcement, medical professionals, attorneys) in their individual tasks as well as keep the victim informed on the status of their evidence. They have also developed a web application to increase reporting rates of sexual assault and harassment on campus and in businesses.
In this episode, you’ll hear…
•More in-depth discussions on how start-up company incubators such as iVenture are doing more than creating businesses – they are creating leaders whose work provides profits to far more people than the owners.
•What the college experience is providing, and how that measures up to what students want.
•What young entrepreneurs and college students want from the work place, and what changes they feel would benefit all of us.
