There was a 19-year-old girl name Resurren. Her mother thought she was a stillborn. And just when she was about to give up, that's when Resurren cried. Her mother named her that name thinking of the resurrection of Christ.

Resurren grew and as she grew her whole life depended on basketball. It was all she had. Resurren ignored the middleman on the playground to make it. She was on the playground with the guys wanting to get away from the outdoor courts of the world and go higher. The middleman gave her a hard time because she was a female. Resurren had special skills and techniques that he had never seen before on the ballpark playground. He only rewarded her with sporty hats, shirts, and shoes, but she wanted a scolarship.

She thought: The middleman don't want me to make it. How can I make it?”

Resurren began to think on 1 John 4:4 You’re of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

I'm gonna leave you now to think on those words, and I'll be back with another episode of this story later on in the program. Today’s episode: Ballpark Playground by Gail Nobles ©️ 2023.
