I promise you this isnt a podcast about KRS-One....not yet at least. But until I come up with a more clever headline this is what you get. We get back on track talking to the homie Deonte Tanner, the founder and President on Servants for Hope. I like to use the nickname "random hero" alot because anyone can be a hero. An everyday person like you or me, no capes needed. Deonte is one of those people I've probably walked past a million times and never really realized just how much his work and faith affect his community and friends/neighbors alike. I finally got to sit down with the homie and talk education, mental health, and some other important black male issues. We're both from Englewood so it was a good chat with someone who's seen and grew up as I did. I also get way too emotional talking about 2pac lol, but we talk music here, folks!
