The Tacketts were voted 2017 Country Gospel Group of the Year in the Big CCN Christian Country Virtual Music Awards and were a Top Five Nominee for Christian
Country Group of the Year for the Diamond Awards in 2018, 2017 & 2016.
Also in 2017 The Tacketts performed at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota and won 1st place in the 2017 SMG Nashville Talent Showcase.
Background: Husband and wife Jeff and Sarah Tackett and their band, Powell Creek Junction, carry on a long tradition of tight harmonies in music ministry.
Jeff’s been singing and touring since the age of eight with his family's gospel group, “The Tackett Family.”
As a preacher's kid, he toured the US from their home in Shelby, OH, to share their music ministry from 1979 to 1994, followed by a solo country career.
Jeff’s rich country vocals are the perfect blend with Sarah’s tender voice that touches the heart and spirit.
Sarah, a former Miss Ohio and talent award winner in the Miss America Pageant, has a background in musical theater, TV and radio commercials, and voice-overs.
She's been a featured speaker and emcee for special events and women's conferences.
The Tacketts live in Defiance, OH, have four children, and travel with their six talented band members. The Tacketts and Powell Creek Junction will be
well-received by audiences at any concert stage, corporate event, church, fair, festival, faith conference or venue where they are invited to share their
music and message.
