There are many forms of meditation Here is one….Transcendental Meditation, with its roots in the Vedic traditions of India, was brought into the global mainstream in the 1950s by Indian guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. It is a form of silent mantra (most often a religious or spiritual thought/prayer) meditation, practiced sitting comfortably, with eyes closed, and assuming no particular position from the yoga traditions.
