Born and raised in New York City, Caroline Schley holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Environmental Science and a MA from NYU in Education. She travelled all over the world throughout her twenties seeking adventure and employment and working in industries from event planning to outdoor education. She worked as a features writer for “The Tahoe World”, a white water rafting guide, a political street canvasser, a public relations pion before settling into a career as a high school science teacher. In 2018, at 35 years old she decided to take a sabbatical year to work full-time on writing a novel. She is currently querying her first contemporary young adult manuscript.
