Description

Mental Illness Awareness Week in Canada & October is Bullying Prevention Month in the US so it's my absolute privilege to 🎙 interview Tracey Maxfield on my show this week!

👩 Tracey Maxfield, nurse, author, and mental health advocate, will share openly her experiences of being diagnosed with clinical depression in her twenties and living with chronic depression ever since.

👩 She'll share her acute depressive episode in 2015 after enduring years of intense workplace stress, harassment and bullying. While this plummeted her into an abyss of darkness, hopelessness and despair the likes of which she had never experienced before, over time Tracey began to heal and found that out of the darkness and despair, that there is hope, there is life after depression.

📗 Since the release of her book, Escaping the Rabbit Hole: my life with depression, Tracey has become a staunch advocate for Mental Illness and Mental Health Awareness and Bullying.

Listen to show your support, to learn and together let's move the needle to reduce the stigma and increase awareness of mental health and mental illness. We CAN make a difference one conversation at a time.
