We're in a culture where we praise hard work, yet we don't work hard. We look at the pain and grind others go through to get to the top, we find it motivating, and then we come crashing down the second the hard work becomes our own reality.
I used to look up "motivational videos" on YouTube, get pumped to go for a run, then quit about a mile in because the going got too hard. It's bullshit. We admire entrepreneurship. We admire health and fitness. We admire good dads and Godly men. Yet, we often forget that doing the work in our own lives isn't sexy.
Doing the work is not sexy. Period. But, it is required to expand and grow across body, being, balance, and business.
