Gabrielle shares the story about her grandfather who was a hypochondriac who ended up committing suicide because he was so ill, yet being a picture of health. Then Gabrielle and Marcella share the story about a family member who they suspect has Munchhausen and Munchhausen by proxy and whose son is suffering the consequences. We describe an incident when the family member insisted her son be rushed to the emergency room during a thanksgiving party because she was not receiving enough attention. Nothing was wrong with her son.
