These final chapters are the ones in which Lindon and Mercy face off with Malice, and finally have a chance to tell Mercy the truth. Meanwhile, in the heavens the Mad King is planning his attack on Ozriel and Suriel, and Makiel is looking on with that kind of self-satisfied regret that I cannot stand because it's him acting like something is a "neccessity" when really what he means is that it's personally convenient.
