These chapters focus on Scorio's forward progression into Dread Blaze, and the choice that he makes at his trial which is tied to the powers he ends up manifesting. His rage and pain in the flashback worry him, and this leads to him trying to give Naomi advice that she understandably rejects. It's a weirdly lonely group of chapters, and I'm wondering when the relationship talk between him and Naomi is going to rear its head.
