The words of King David, Psalm 4:1, "Hear me when I call, oh God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me and hear my prayer." It's so important when you and I find ourselves in times of trouble, to remember how good God has been to us in the past. He knows that our tendency is to think only of our present distresses. That's why we have to train our minds to sit down and remember how good God has been. If the children of Israel had done this at the border of their promised place, history would be so different. Before you do or say anything today, stop and think about what God has already done for you. After you've begun to rejoice in your heart, then start to pray. It's time to pray.
