No one gets married with the intent for it to end in divorce, but unfortunately, many people find themselves in divorce court. Regardless of whose decision it was to divorce, the end of a marriage can bring about feelings of shame, self-doubt, fear, and insecurity. To say that divorce can be stressful is an understatement. Your mind goes on a rollercoaster ride of worry. Everything from what you will do about finances to if you will ever be able to trust again leads to many sleepless nights.
Some people are able to successfully rebuild while others find themselves feeling bitter, angry, and disappointed for years. One way to cope with the ending of your marriage is to turn it into a time to reevaluate, reinvent, and rebuild every aspect of your life stronger than it was before.
In this episode, I had the chance to speak to an amazing woman who took the lemons of a divorce and turned them into lemonade. Her name is Favor Campbell, and she shares her very personal story of heartbreak and rebuilding. You will leave this episode with tools to rebuild your life stronger than ever before.
