Description

2020 was quite the year. Some would consider it to be one of the worst years yet. But we have GOOD news: God is not done with us. He is good in all of His ways and He will work all things together for good!

Take a listen as guest speaker, Pastor Brian Jennings, shares a beautiful word about crossing over from one season to another.

Notes:

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Cor. 2:9 (NLT)

In Crossing Over You Must:

LET GO OF DOUBT
“Anyone who doubts is like a wave in the sea, blown up and down by the wind...  They should not think they will receive anything from the Lord.” James 1:6-7 (NCV)

“Be bold and strong (Courageous)! Banish (Eliminate it) fear and doubt!
For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Josh. 1:9 (LB)

2 Things that cause us to doubt:
1. Comparing my abilities
2. Remembering your failures

LOOK FOR A PROMISE
“I promised Moses I would give you this land, so I will give you every place you go in the land.” Josh. 1:3 (NCV)

3 Promises to Those Who Live for God in Joshua 1

1. He promises Strength.  In Verse 5 “No one will be able to stand against you.”
2. God promises to give you Success.  In Verse 7 He says, “You will be successful.”
3. He promises Support. In Verse 9 He says, “I will be with you wherever you go.”

LEAN ON THE LORD
“No one will be able to defeat you all your life.  Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.  I will not leave you or forget you.” Josh. 1:5 (NCV) and as long as Joshua leaned on God, he was undefeatable.

LAUNCH OUT IN FAITH
hen Joshua issued instructions to the leaders to tell the people to get ready to cross the Jordan River.” Josh. 1:10-11 (LB)

“If you wait for perfect conditions, you’ll never get anything done!” Eccl. 11:4
