As the new year has come, people are making new year resolutions, reflecting on this past year, and making new goals.
In this message, Pastor Mariana Parkhotyuk shares 3 things that you NEED to leave BEHIND in 2021. Do not bring them into 2022 if you want to have a fruitful year.

1. Offense
Our response towards an offense determines our future.
Luke 17:1
If you stay free from offense you will stay in God’s will. If you become offended you will be taken captive by the enemy to fulfill his own purpose and will.
You can’t get closer to Holy Spirit with bitterness, but you can with forgiveness.
Ephesians 4:29-31
Stop being so sensitive to what people say and do, and start being sensitive to what Holy Spirit is about to do.
Get some fact checkers: Be accountable with the condition of your mind, soul (emotions), words (what you say and who you say it to).
Instead of trying to keep others accountable, we need to keep ourselves accountable.
Our offense ends up tearing down the bride of Christ.

2. Wrongful Pursuit

Is Jesus the way or is He in the way?
Our goals are god and God is no longer the goal.
The pursuit became, “I want to be acknowledged, that we have forgotten to acknowledge Him.”
3. Building Life Alone
Genesis 2:18
We need community.
When groups of zebras travel together, the stripes of one animal, blend the stripes of another one. Creating confusion towards the predator, when zebras stick together they create an optical illusion for the predator.
If a zebra is injured, the whole herd forms a circle to defend it.
