2. Holy Spirit is a PETITION of Jesus

Even Jesus had to petition the Father for the things the Father promised.
Jesus’ priestly prayer for us is “give them ANOTHER Helper.”
The Holy Spirit is called to take the place of Christ with the apostles, to lead them to a deeper knowledge of truth, to give them the strength to overcome trials and power to reach the world.
Jesus’ prayer was that we know the Holy Spirit the way disciples knew Jesus!
3. Holy Spirit is a PURPOSE of salvation

Salvation brings the PERSON before it takes us to a PLACE.
