Pastor Vlad speaks a compelling message on walking towards recovery. Living a life where like King David he strengthened himself in the Lord his God. Be Blessed.
Notes:
1 Samuel 30:6
1. RENEW YOUR STRENGTH SO THAT YOU RECOVER WHAT WAS STOLEN
If you don’t renew your strength, you will blame the struggle.
1 Samuel 30:6
“If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10
If you don’t renew your strength, you will go as far as those around you go.
2. RECEIVE FROM THE LORD AFTER YOU RENEW YOUR STRENGTH
1 Samuel 28:5-6,
1 Samuel 28:20
Defeated soul can’t heed Spirits direction.
As you revive someone, God will bring you to own your restoration.
How to strengthen yourself in the Lord?
1. Make God the source of your strength.
“The Lord is my strength and my song” Exodus 15:2
God is called “The Strength of Israel” 1 Samuel 15:29
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me Phil.4:13
2. Wait on the Lord (Isaiah 40:31)
3. Pray in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20; 1 Corinthians 14:4)
4. Speak to your soul
Bless the Lord oh my soul (Psalm 103)
Why are you cast down, O my soul? (Psalm 42-43)
If God is your strength in the trial, he will be your source in the triumph.
