Babysitting is burdensome.
God did not accept Moses’ resignation.
He shifted the burden.
God didn’t remove the burden.
He made it be so that Moses didn’t bear it alone.
Choosing Leaders:
1. Whom you know to be the elders, not those who have the potential.
- elders are made by God but recognized by men
2. That they may stand there with you.
- leaders are supporting him and strengthened by the virtue of their presence
3. I will take the Spirit on you and put it on them.
- they must share the same heart, the same vision…
4. Shall bear the burden of people with you.
- they shall share the load of ministry
The blessing of ministry comes with the burden of ministry.
