Elizma is both a qualified naturopath and homeopath with close to 15 years’ experience. Her special interests lie in functional diagnostics, nutrigenomics, and cellular dysfunction but she always takes a generalist approach in her clinical practice and teaching.
Elizma is well known for her ability to ‘connect-the-dots’ between root cause, symptoms, and genetics, and helping people reach a better understanding of their health conditions. By looking at all chronic diseases as a shift in biochemical processes due to the ‘cell danger response’, Elizma treats a wide variety of chronic illnesses but also sees many fertility and preconception clients who want to optimize pregnancy by looking at genetic polymorphisms and the expression of these genes.
