Why Fasting Still Matters Today
Scripture: Matthew 6:16—“Moreover when ye fast…”
Notice something important in Matthew 6:16. Jesus didn’t say if you fast. He said, When you fast, That tells us fasting was never meant to be optional for believers who desire spiritual depth, clarity, and power. Fasting is not outdated, extreme, or reserved for “super-spiritual” people. It is a biblical practice meant to bring the believer into greater alignment with God.
