For years, a gentleman in Bay County by the name of Mike Jones has also been known by another name: Salvage Santa. He’s served thousands of children in the community by collecting toys and repairing bicycles to ensure that every child gets to have a special Christmas morning.
But this year, they need Salvage Santa more than ever. With thousands of children currently homeless in Bay County, and a growing list of over 14,000 who need some holiday help, Salvage Santa is very busy. But even Santa’s home and workshop were wrecked by the storm.
