Examples from GABF Winners List 2019

Gold Medal: Diablo Rojo
Boneyard Beer - Bend, OR

5.5 % ABV

Notes from Brewery: This deep amber ale is extremely well balanced and very drinkable. It appeals both to the hop lover and non hop lover. This beer is duel-hopped with Cascade and Delta hops. Cheers to the Red Devil!

Silver Medal: 1890 Founder's Ale
Grayton Beer Co. - Santa Rosa Beach, FL

6.1 % ABV

Notes from Brewery : This copper-colored ale combines a rich malt character featuring flavors of caramel, toffee and roasted walnuts with American Cascade hops. A perfect union….this full-bodied beer has a bright, lively pine finish.

Pairing: The roasted notes in this beer play well with grilled, smoked, or braised meats. A great dessert beer that will go well with apple pie, cobbler and other fall classics.
