"Gremlins" (1984) is one of the best products to come out of the 80s. Utilizing those mischievous, beer drinking creatures; it's fantastic blend of horror and comedy established it as a pioneer of the cross-genre. But did you know the original script by Chris Columbus had no presence of slapstick? It was strictly a horror story.
