Have you heard the expression that life imitates art?

Well, if you consider the Jerry Seinfeld show a form of art, this statement turns out to be true.

What am I talking about?

Fans of Seinfeld will certainly remember an episode called “The Maestro” where:

“George decides that he should help a security guard who works at Susan’s uncle’s store and must stand all day … [so he] … delivers a rocking chair to the security guard, who falls asleep in it; the store gets robbed as a result.”

Well, Walmart just had a $65 million dollar settlement with its cashiers who sued to be allowed to sit on the job.

These cashiers should enjoy the settlement money while they can – soon automation and the minimum wage laws will put them out of work.

The other topic on the show compares jerk teachers who write-up students and give out detentions all the time to jerk cops who give out tickets rather than warnings just to raise revenue.
