"In our latest episode, Brendan is joined by Emma Newbery, co-editor of Alone Together: Tales of Sisterhood and Solitude in Latin America, an anthology from a diverse group of thirty-six women who have travelled solo in Latin America. Outside of telling us how the book came together, Emma also delves a little into what some see as the different expectations of women in Europe and North America compared to their counterparts in Latin America. We also discover that after reading Alone Together, Brendan is now full of wanderlust again (if it ever really went away!), just a few weeks after starting a new full-time, 8-6 office job!
