Dineen made his NHL debut with the Coyotes on November 5, 2021 after spending the previous three seasons with the Tucson Roadrunners. Over four seasons in Tucson, Dineen tallied 55 points (14g 41a) in 157 games as a Roadrunner. The 23-year-old set career-highs for assists (16) and points (19) in just 21 outings with Tucson this season, and recorded seven assists in 34 games in his first season in the NHL.
