Description

Anyone who's ever been in a band can relate to performing in an empty venue. It's part of the experience. Maybe you've even fudged the numbers of your draw to get onto a bill. Maybe you've lied about ticket sales in the hundreds. Maybe you put together fake promotional materials and social media liked by fake people to bolster your appearance. Maybe those venues are in Europe, where people expect to see an internationally touring act, but instead get local dive bar randos.
If that's not you, it can only be the maddening tale of Threatin, the one man metal band who scored a European tour through meticulously crafted lies and deception only for it all to fall apart the moment these venues realized they'd been duped. Threatin's story was one of the most bizarre music-related pieces of news of 2018, and now the goodboix of Jukebox Zeroes have teamed up with fellow bad music connoisseur (And return guest) Heather Mack of Make It Stop to attempt to make sense of this madness, while listening to their less touched upon full-length Breaking The World.
